Battery-powered light for custom 100 × 100 mm signs

This battery-powered light is suitable for presenting individually made signs in the format 100 × 100 mm. The sign is created based on your uploaded photo or design and is evenly illuminated from the inside.

Possible applications include payment QR codes, links to websites, logos, portraits, notices, table displays, or decorative designs.

Custom sign based on your template

The inserted sign is produced using the image file you provide. Once inserted, it is visibly backlit by the integrated LED lighting. The light color is in the range of neutral white to slightly warm white and provides a pleasant, clearly visible appearance.

Please upload an image file with as much contrast as possible. QR codes, logos, simple graphics, and well-lit portraits are particularly suitable. Very dark, blurry, or highly detailed images may have limitations in the final display.

After your order, we will check the uploaded file. If the design is not suitable or if we have any questions, we will contact you before production.

By default, the signs are 3D-printed from plastic in black/white or grayscale. If you upload a color image, we will convert it to grayscale beforehand. The number of different color gradations is reduced in the process (see the following photo for comparison). In individual cases, specific color requests can be realized. If you would like a design that contains color, please contact us beforehand at info@jonashape.de or via our contact form.

Note on QR codes

For QR codes, we make sure to achieve the best possible readability. However, scanability also depends on the quality of the template, the camera, the distance, the ambient lighting, and the QR code used. Please use a high-resolution template or a screenshot with sufficient quality whenever possible.

Battery operation with adjustable brightness

The brightness of the light can be variably adjusted by JonaShape. Please note: the higher the brightness, the shorter the battery life.

The standard setting is approx. 50 mA. When using batteries with 1200 mAh, this results in a runtime of approximately 24 hours. When using NiMH rechargeable batteries with a typical capacity of 1000 mAh, the runtime is approximately 20 hours.

If you would like a different brightness setting, please specify this when placing your order. We will then contact you to coordinate the details.

Additional USB-C port for longer runtime

For particularly long operating times, the light also features a USB-C port. This allows the light to be powered, for example, by a power bank or a power supply.

Note on USB-C power supply: Power supply works reliably with USB-A to USB-C cables. Pure USB-C to USB-C cables may not work, depending on the power supply or cable.

The toggle switch has three positions:

• Battery operation
• Off
• USB-C power supply

Easy replacement of the sign

The 3D-printed sign is replaceable. Replacement is possible without specialist knowledge. Only two Phillips screws need to be loosened. The sign can then simply be slid upward and removed, and a new sign can be inserted.

Required batteries or rechargeable batteries

The light is operated with 4× AAA batteries or 4× AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries.

Area of use

The light is intended for indoor use. It is not waterproof and is not suitable for permanent outdoor use.

Manufacturing note

This product is made individually after the order has been placed. Due to the 3D-printing process, slight visible layer lines, structural differences, and small dimensional deviations may occur. These are process-related and do not constitute a defect.

Safety information

Please use only suitable batteries or rechargeable batteries. The light must not be operated while covered. If the product is not used for an extended period, the batteries or rechargeable batteries should be removed from the device.

Note

The actual runtime depends on the batteries or rechargeable batteries used, their condition, and the selected brightness setting. A different brightness setting can be configured on request, but this directly affects the runtime.
